This Psalm leads us to Christ’s “foundation” for our family’s “house”. #15.

Jesus tells how to build a “House” for us and our families on The Firmest Foundation in Creation! Catholics begin by getting His “Building Permit”!

Question 1: “Do The Psalms remind us to get rid of ‘wrath’ and ‘anger’ so we can Think Clearly?”

Answer: “The Book of Sirach 27:30-28:7 introduces Today’s Psalm: ‘Wrath and anger are hateful things, yet the sinner hugs them tight. The vengeful will suffer The Lord’s vengeance, for He remembers their sins in detail.’

~

Question 2: “How can we have our sins forgiven?”

Answer: “Sirach 27:30—28:7 is clear! ‘Forgive your neighbor’s injustice; then when you pray, your own sins will be forgiven.’

The Passage ends with: Think of The Commandments, hate not your neighbor; remember The Most High’s covenant, and overlook faults. Remember your last days, set enmity aside; remember death and decay, and cease from sin!’

Question 3: “Does that connect us to Today’s Psalm, 113:1b-2, 3-4, 5 and 6-7

Answer: “The Psalm tells us to put God first! ‘Praise, you servants of The Lord, praise the name of The Lord. Blessed be the name of The Lord both now and forever.’

The Catholic Response: ‘Blessed be the name of The Lord for ever.’

~

Question 4: “Do Catholics connect that to John 14:23?”

We read and honor This Word of Jesus! ‘Whoever loves Me will keep My word, and My Father will love him, and We will come to him.’

When Catholics read That Blessed Promise from Jesus, we repeat This Word to praise and thank Him: ‘Alleluia, alleluia’!

Question 5: “What happens to the life and soul of a person who willfully refuses to praise and obey Every Word of Jesus?”

Answer: “Lk 6:43-49 lets us know the difference between ‘good’ and ‘evil’ people! ‘A good person out of the store of goodness in his heart produces good, but an evil person out of a store of evil produces evil; for from the fullness of the heart the mouth speaks.’

Question 6: “Do those Passages tell us to be in The Only Church Jesus Christ Spoke into Being with This Word: ‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”?

Answer: “Yes! Jesus gives us His Word about what must happen to all who willfully and knowingly choose to disobey Any Word from Him!

‘Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ but not do what I command? I will show you what someone is like who comes to Me, listens to My Words, and acts on them. That one is like a man building a house, who dug deeply and laid the foundation on rock; when the flood came, the river burst against that house but could not shake it because it had been well built.’

~

Question 7: “What happens to those who ‘listen’ but do ‘not act’ in accordance with Any Word of Jesus?”

Answer: “‘But the one who listens and does not act is like a person who built a house on the ground without a foundation. When the river burst against it, it collapsed at once and was completely destroyed.’

~

Question 8: “Do the descendants of those who knowingly and willingly reject Words of Jesus have their family’s ‘house collapse’?”

Answer: “That is what happens to families and souls of all who refuse to build on ‘a foundation’ built of obedience to Every Word of Jesus Christ.”
