May all be blessed that Jesus will bless us with the obedience that lets us be close to Him!

Question 1: “What Words from The Psalms have guided The Faithful for 3,000 years?”

Answer: “Psalms 96:1 and 3, 4-5, 11-12, 13 have guided The Faithful with This Word:

‘The Lord comes to judge the earth.’

~

First Reading: ‘Sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all you lands. Tell his glory among the nations; among all peoples, his wondrous deeds.’

Our Response: ‘The Lord comes to judge the earth.’

~

Second Reading: ‘For great is The LORD and highly to be praised; awesome is He, beyond all gods. For all the gods of the nations are things of nought, but The LORD made the heavens.’

Our Response: ‘The Lord comes to judge the earth.’

~

Third Reading: ‘Let the heavens be glad and the earth rejoice; let the sea and what fills it resound; let the plains be joyful and all that is in them! Then shall all the trees of the forest exult.’

The Response: ‘The Lord comes to judge the earth.’

~

Fourth Reading: ‘Before the LORD, for He comes; for He comes to rule the earth. He shall rule the world with justice and the peoples with His constancy.’

Our Response: ‘The Lord comes to judge the earth.’

Question 2: “What do Catholics gain by considering That Reading from Psalms written 3,000 years ago by King David?”

Answer: “We know that God, in The Person of Jesus Christ, is our Judge! He will Judge us on every word we have spoken and every deed we have done. Catholics know that He will read our ‘Book of Life’. He will know all that we have said and done in our time on earth.”

~

Question 3: “How do Catholics use That Reading from The Psalms to guide our lives?”

Answer: “We know three things!

First: Catholics know that Willful Disobedience to Any Word of God has painful consequences at Judgment.

Second: Catholics know that Jesus Christ told us about One Group of people whom He will admit into Heaven: ‘You are My friends if you obey My commands.’

Third: Catholics obey Teachings of The Only Church SPOKEN Into Being by This Word of The Living Son of God while He was in Human Form on earth!

‘And I say unto you, thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’

~

May all be blessed to have obedience to That Word of Jesus written in our Book of Life before our soul stands before Jesus at our Judgment.

May we all be blessed to speak and live so that our souls are forever among ‘You are My friends if you obey My commands.’
