In every generation, some are blessed to see that many Words of Jesus are “Prophecies”.
~
Question 1: “What are some ‘Specific Prophecies’ from Jesus’?”
Answer: “Jesus made ‘Specific Prophecies’ that The City of Jerusalem was about to be destroyed! Luke 19:4: ‘Yes, a time is coming when your enemies will raise fortifications all around you, when they will encircle you and hem you in on every side; they will dash you and the children inside your walls to the ground; they will leave not stone standing on another within you, and all because you did not recognize your opportunity when God offered it.’”
~
Question 2: “That is A Very Specific Prophesy from Jesus! It came true when competing groups of Jews in Jerusalem decided to declare war on Rome and each other. By 70, Rome had ‘encircled’ Jerusalem. None of its ‘stones were left standing’! Did Jesus prophesy that in other Passages?”
Answer: “The Prophesy of Jesus in Mt 21:43 is also clear. ‘I tell you then that The Kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit.’ That is what happened! Tens of thousands of Catholics in Jerusalem escaped to safety in Pella. The Jews who remained in Jerusalem were destroyed.”
~
Question 3: “Did Jesus prophesy more than once about the fate of Jerusalem?”
Answer: “Luke 21:5-6 begins with obvious facts! ‘All these things (huge buildings, The Temple, and palaces) you are staring at now, the time will come when not a single stone will be left on another. Everything will be destroyed.’”
~
Question 4: “Did those Prophecies come true more than once?”
Answer: The Histories written by Josephus are clear! The City of Jerusalem was destroyed in the 3 and a half years leading up to its destruction by Vespasian and Titus. Then, two more wars were fought by the Jews against Rome. The last of them ended in The Third Jewish War in 129. Simon Bar Kochba’s armies, and most of those remaining in The Tribe of Judah were destroyed by Rome.”
~
Question 5: “Were any Jewish people left alive after the last Jewish Wars?”
Answer: “Many in Judah and Benjamin, and in the Ten Tribes of Israelites beyond The Euphrates, did obey Jesus and become Catholic. Many of them were persecuted by those who rejoiced in the destruction of Judah and Benjamin.”
~
Question 6: “Why didn’t people listen to the Specific Prophecies of Jesus that predicted the Destruction that was soon going to fall upon Jerusalem?”
Answer: “Willful Protestants never take Words of Jesus Christ seriously! To this day, Willful Protestants all reject This Prophecy of Jesus about whose souls may receive Christ’s ‘keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’!
‘And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys of The Kingdom of Heaven.’”
May all be blessed to Think Clearly enough to obey That Specific Prophecy from Jesus Christ!”
