Today, Catholics see why Protestants removed The Book of Wisdom from The Bible:

The Prophets predicted that Wisdom would come to earth.

Today’s Reading is from The Book of Wisdom 9:13-18.   500 years ago, Modern Protestants removed this, and six other Books from their Bibles because they questioned human ability to know God:

“Who can know God’s counsel, or who can conceive what The LORD intends? For the deliberations of mortals are timid, and unsure are our plans.”  Many Victims of Protestantism are led to believe “I ‘can conceive what The Lord Intends’I am not ‘timid’I am not ‘unsure of my plans’!  God ‘intends’ that I should be a Donatist, an Arian, an Episcopalian, a Modern Methodist, a Mormon, a Unitarian, a Christian Scientist, or whatever I ‘plan’ to be!”

The next passage explains what leads to that vanity:  “For the corruptible body burdens the soul and the earthen shelter weighs down the mind that has many concerns.”

Catholics know our human weakness:  “And scarce do we guess the things on earth, and what is within our grasp we find with difficulty;  but when things are in Heaven, who can search them out?”

Catholics realize that the only people who know God are given this knowledge:  “Or who ever knew Your counsel, except You had given wisdom and sent Your Holy Spirit from on high?”

Inventors of tens of thousands of Protestant Marketing Plans over the past 2,000 years embrace the same vanity: I have been ‘given more Wisdom from The Holy Spirit on high’ than anyone!”

God’s Prophets were given enough “Wisdom from The Holy Spirit on high” to predict the coming of The Prophesied Messiah!  “And thus were the paths of those on earth made straight.”

Those “paths were made straight” by over 300 Prophecies that led directly to The Birth of The Prophesied Messiah to a Virgin of The House of David in the tiny village of Bethlehem!

Catholics are blessed to respect the Wisdom of The Prophets enough to realize that The Promised Messiah Spoke One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church into Being on Earth with His Only Church-Creating Word to His First Catholic Pope!

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

May all be blessed to “know God’s counsel” well enough to be blessed with the “wisdom” to get the only “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” that The Prophesied Messiah died to leave on earth for the souls of His faithful followers.

Today’s Simple Rhyme:  “May all be blessed to see / ‘God knows more than me.'”
