Today, God’s “Hidden Prophecies” teaching us to “Be Catholic” begin in Genesis 17:3-9 “When Abram prostrated himself, (A “Hidden Prophecy” of Catholic priests “prostrating” themselves before God at their Ordination.), God spoke to him: ‘My covenant with you is this: you are to become the father of a host of nations. No longer shall you be called Abram; your name shall be Abraham, for I am making you the father of a host of nations… I will make nations of you; kings shall stream from you.’ (A “Hidden Prophecy” of Saul, his replacement, David, and his replacement, Jesus!)”
Today’s Old Testament Reading ends when “God said to Abraham; ‘On your part, you and your descendants after you must keep My covenant throughout the ages.'” That is a “Hidden Prophecy” Catholics see repeated in Today’s Psalm 105: 4-9, “The Lord remembers His Covenant forever.”
In the 2,000 years following Terah and his son, Abraham, God’s “New Covenant” came to earth when “a Virgin of the House of David (Isaiah 7:14) gave birth to Jesus in Bethlehem (Micah 5-2)”! Psalm 95:8 predicts that with a “Hidden Prophecy” foretelling what Catholics would be blessed to do for 2,000 years: “If today you hear His voice, harden not your hearts.”
Those who are blessed to “hear His Voice” clearly enough to obey the Church-Creating Word of He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies to His First Catholic Pope are predicted: “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”
Catholics are blessed to “hear” Words of He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies and not “harden their hearts” think clearly about John 8:51-50, in this “Unhidden Prophecy”: “Jesus said to the Jews (And, everyone on earth!): ‘Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever keeps My Word will never see death.'”
Those who do not respect that “Hidden Prophecy” of Catholic Communion (“If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”, which Jesus repeated 14 times.) are symbolized by the first organized group hostile to His Teaching:
“So the Jews said to Him, ‘Now we are sure that you are possessed. Abraham died, as did the prophets, yet You say, ‘Whoever keeps My Word will never taste death.’ Are you greater than our father Abraham, who died? Or the prophets, who also died? Who do You make Yourself out to be?”
“Jesus answered, ‘If I glorify Myself, my glory is worth nothing (That is a “Hidden Prophecy” describing every life wasted by seeking fame and fortune!); but it is My Father Who glorifies Me, of Whom you say, ‘He is our God.’
Jesus explained their limited knowledge of God:
“You do not know Him, but I know Him. And if I should say that I do not know Him, I would be like you, a liar.” That “Hidden Prophecy” predicts the billions who would believe “I know more than Jesus about the importance of Being Catholic and receiving His Seven Catholic Sacraments, which are among ‘the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven'”!
“But I do know Him and I keep His Word.” (Catholics see that as a “Hidden Prophecy” explaining that He Is The Living Word of God: The Loving Programmer’s Creation Program in Human Form!) Then, Jesus said what He knew: many would not want to understand God well enough to believe: “Abraham, your father, rejoiced to see My day; he saw it and was glad.’
Those who refused to think Jesus could be That Much More than they asked: “So, the Jews said to Him, ‘You are not yet fifty years old, and you have seen Abraham?'”
Jesus blessed all who would respect The Prophets enough to recognize that He had Fullfilled their Messianic Prophecies by speaking one sentence describing Who He Is: “Jesus said to them, ‘Amen, amen, I say to you, before Abraham came to be, I AM.”
They did not ask Him to explain how that could be Truth! Their hatred of any standard higher than themselves took form: “So they picked up stones to throw at Him, but Jesus hid and went out of the temple area.”
Catholics are blessed to see that Passage is a “Hidden Prophecy” of how Jesus “hid” from those who worshiped themselves more than God and would “go out of their temple areas” for the following 2,000 years.
