Today! Three Words from God solve “Confusion Headaches”! #38.

Catholics know. The first cure for "Confusion Headaches" is seeing that every human soul will be "weighed" at our Judgment.

Today’s Reading condenses reality into Three Words that God had written on the wall for the corrupt, self-serving King Belshazzar to read and for The Prophet Daniel to interpret!  These Three Words are written for every person on earth!

1. ‘Mene’ means that ‘God has numbered your kingdom and put an end to it.”  Catholics are blessed to understand that God has “numbered” the days of our lives.

2.  “‘Tekel’ means thatYou have been weighed on the scales and found wanting.”   Catholics know from The Bible and our Saints that every soul is “weighed on the scales” with every choice we make, and, for the last time, at God’s Judgment.

3. ‘Peres’ tells each person that “your kingdom has been divided and found wanting.”  God has given obedient Catholics these “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven”.  Each of us is our own human “kingdom”.  We are not “found wanting” if we obey The Church-Creating Word of He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies to His First Catholic Pope:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”  Those “keys” include The Seven Catholic Sacraments.

Proverbs 16:11 is clear:  Every human soul is a living entity that will be “weighed” at Judgment:  “A just balance and scales are the Lord’s;  all the weights in the bag are His work.”

Matthew 16:77 tells us, “For the Son of Man is going to come with His angels in the glory of His Father, and then He will repay each person for what he has done.”  That “repayment” requires that our soul be “weighed”, or measured in some way.

Souls may also be measured by “brightness”.  No matter how they are judged, some souls are allowed into Heaven’s Joy, forever!   Others are not.  May we all be blessed to love God and our neighbors enough to be pleasing to Him at our Judgment.  May all be blessed to be forever among: “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”
