Today’s Bible Reading tells us: “Be Catholic!” #10.

Jesus personally saves Catholic souls from worldly confusion that keeps many from having His “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven”.

~

Question 1: “How does Today’s Bible Reading tell us to ‘Be Catholic!’

Answer: “Col 2:6-15 clearly tells us to ‘Be Catholic!’ with This Word:

‘Brothers and sisters: As you received Christ Jesus The Lord, walk in Him, be rooted in Him and built upon Him and established in the faith as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.’

~

Question 2: “How does that tell us to ‘Be Catholic!’?”

Answer: If we willfully disobey The Church-Creating Word with which ‘Christ The Lord’ spoke One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church into Being’, we cannot ‘walk’ with Him or be ‘rooted’ in Him!

‘And I say unto you, thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’

~

Question 3: “When we compare That Church-creating Word of Jesus Christ with other teachings, what are we to do?”

Answer: “We must open our eyes! Then, we will ‘See to it that no one captivate you with an empty, seductive philosophy according to the tradition of men, according to the elemental powers of the world and not according to Christ.’

~

Question 4: “What happens if we choose to reject Any Word of Jesus Christ?”

Answer: “Many souls are ‘captured’ by some ’empty, seductive philosophy’. They tell us to love ourselves more than we love God.”

~

Question 5: “Why are Catholics so blessed to escape worldly, self-serving people?

Answer: John 15:16 makes that clear! I chose you from the world, that you may go and bear fruit that will last, says The Lord.’

~

Question 6: “What do Catholics say when we realize that Jesus Christ has ‘chosen us’ to get ‘the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’ that let our Catholic souls be ‘the fruit that will last’?”

Answer: “Catholics say: ‘Alleluia, alleluia!’.”

~

Question 7: “Why do Catholics say that?”

Answer: “The Daily Psalm Ps 145: 1-2, 8-9, 10-11 includes: ‘Let all Your works give You thanks, O Lord, and let Your faithful ones bless You. Let them discourse of the glory of Your Kingdom and speak of Your might.’

The Response to That Psalm is: ‘The Lord is compassionate toward all his works.’

~

He is most ‘compassionate’ to Catholics. We are the people He has chosen to: ‘walk in Him, be rooted in Him and built upon Him and established in the faith as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.’
