Today’s Gospel tells us what Protestants always do!

May all the groups of people on earth be blessed to stop arguing with Jesus.

May all the groups of people on earth be blessed to stop arguing with Jesus.

Question 1:  “Does The Bible, in John 7:40:53, tell us what Protestants do when they hear the Words of Jesus?”

Answer:  “They show us that people are divided into Groups:  ‘Some in the crowd (Group #1) who heard these words of Jesus said, ‘This is truly the Prophet.’
Others (Group #2) said, “The Christ will not come from Galilee, will He?  Does not Scripture say that the Christ will be of David’s family and come from Bethlehem, the village where David lived?”
So a division occurred in the crowd because of Him.
Some of them (Group #3) even wanted to arrest Him, but no one laid hands on Him.'”

Question 2:  “Were there other Groups with different reactions to Jesus?”

Answer:  “‘Establishment Groups’ are identified!  ‘So the guards (Group #4) went to the chief priests (Group # 5) and Pharisees (Group #6), who asked them, “Why did you not bring Him?’
The guards (Group 4) answered, ‘Never before has anyone spoken like this man.’
So the Pharisees answered them, “Have you also been deceived?  Have any of the authorities or the Pharisees believed in him?’  (Self-Righteous Pharisees always believe:  ‘Anyone who threatens our Establishment must be arrested!)

The extremely self-righteous  Protestants in Group  #7 ruled much of The Jerusalem Establishment.  Their opinion of ordinary people who were not properly obedient to them has not changed since Cain killed Abel:  ‘But this crowd, which does not know the law, is accursed.’

Question 3: “Did anyone in those Groups stand up for Jesus?”

Answer:  “Truth-Seekers are represented by Group 7:  ‘Nicodemus, one of their members who had come to Him earlier, said to them, ‘Does our law condemn a man before it first hears him and finds out what he is doing?'”

~

Question 4: “How did the other groups respond to Nicodemus from the Truth-Seeking Group 7?”

Answer:  Self-righteous Protestantism is perfectly defined by Pharisees’ addition to arguing with everyone whose opinions differ:  ‘They answered and said to him, ‘You are not from Galilee also, are you?  Look and see that no prophet arises from Galilee.”

~

Question 5:  “Is that all we need to know about Protestantism?”

There’s something else we need to know!  The few words at the end of Today’s Reading have told us what Willful Protestants have done since Eve ate the apple, Korah attacked Moses, Judas betrayed Jesus, and a hundred thousand denominations were invented to support the Marketing Plans of their inventors:

‘Then each went to his own house.”

~

Every Protestant’s “house” ignores The Church-Creating Word of He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies to His First Catholic Pope: ‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven.’  But, the best Protestants are blessed to be in “houses” that continue to Baptize as many as they can, ignoring what Groups living in darker “houses” describe as ‘enlightenment’.”

Today’s Simple Rhyme:  “‘Have no gods before Me’ / Leads us to see / That we must be / As Catholic as we can!”
