Today’s “Hidden Prophecy” calls many to “Be Catholic!” #66.

It's hard to avoid "Being Catholic" when we read "Hidden Prophecies" in Acts 4:1-12!

“Hidden Prophecies” reveal four groups of people on earth in History in Today’s Reading.

The “crippled man”, represents those blessed to be saved from earthly afflictions:  “After the crippled man had been cured, while Peter and John were still speaking to the people, the priests, the captain of the temple guard, and the Sadducees confronted them, disturbed that they were teaching the people and proclaiming in Jesus the Resurrection of the dead.”

“Peter and John” represent the Catholic Church, led by the Successors to Peter.  They were speaking to the “third group” who are “the people” who seek truth.

The “fourth group” describes those who seek no higher goal than earthly status: “priests, police, and Sadducees”.  The “fourth group” was worried because “many of those who heard The Word came to believe, and their number grew to about five thousand.”

Threatened by this change in the people’s thinking, the “fourth group” had to keep “the people” from hearing more of God’s Truth. They “laid hands on Peter and John and put them in custody until the next day, since it was already evening.”

Catholics put History in One Sentence:  “For the past 2,000 years, anti-Catholic officials and their pseudo-intellectual hirelings keep as many people as they can from Being Catholic.”

That simple understanding of History still helps many “people” to “Be Catholic!” and obey The Only Church-Creating Word of He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies:

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

History is clear:  The “people” on earth will either have our immortal souls blessed by The Seven Catholic Sacraments, or we will not.  The First Catholic Pope makes that clear for the following 2,000 years:

“… all of you and all the people of Israel should know that it was in the name of Jesus Christ the Nazorean, Whom you crucified, Whom God raised from the dead; in His name this man stands before you healed.  He is the stone rejected by you, the builders (predicted in Psalm 118:22), which has become the cornerstone.  There is no salvation through anyone else, nor is there any other name under heaven given to the human race by which we are to be saved.”

May all be blessed to focus on getting “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven”, which include the Seven Catholic Sacraments, that Jesus died to leave to His One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church.

Today’s Simple Rhyme:  “All are either saved or lost / by He who died upon the Cross.                                                                                                                                       May God bless me to understand / and be as Catholic as I can.”
