Neighborhoods, nations, and peoples suffer from groups of neighbors who hire marketing and military experts to convince people: “You should be on our side!” This Prophecy from 1 Kings 11:29-32; and 12:19 tells us what motivates them.
“Jeroboam left Jerusalem, and the prophet Ahijah the Shilonite met him on the road. The two were alone in the area, and the prophet was wearing a new cloak. Ahijah took off his new cloak, tore it into twelve pieces, and said to Jeroboam:
‘Take ten pieces for yourself; the LORD, the God of Israel, says: ‘I will tear away the kingdom from Solomon’s grasp and will give you ten of the tribes. One tribe shall remain to Him for the sake of David My servant, and of Jerusalem, the city I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel.’”
God’s Prophecy is still true! “Israel went into rebellion against David’s house to this day.”
For nearly 3,000 years until “today”, ten tribes of Israel have been in “rebellion against David’s house.” “Israel” includes all the descendants of Abraham who had been settling the lands between India, Ireland, and beyond.
For 2,000 years, “David’s house” has been The Church Spoken Into Being by The Church-Creating Word from He Who was born to a “Virgin of the House of David” (Isaiah 7:14) to His First Catholic Pope: “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”
Sadly, many of those in “rebellion against David’s house” let themselves be led to reject He Who fulfilled over 300 Messianic Prophecies and gave His life to leave Catholics seven specific “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”
Christ’s “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” include The Seven Catholic Sacraments of Baptism, Confession/Absolution, Holy Communion, Confirmation, Marriage, and Healing.” They are provided to those in the “House of David” by Catholic priests who are Ordained with God’s Holy Orders.
Today’s Psalm 81:10-15 also prophecies Catholics! “I am the Lord, your God: hear My voice. There shall be no strange god among you, nor shall you worship any alien god. I, the LORD, am your God who led you forth from the land of Egypt… My people heard not My voice, and Israel obeyed Me not: So I gave them up to the hardness of their hearts; they walked according to their own counsels.” No one can argue with the Truth of That Prophecy.
Catholics are the living fulfillment of the Prophecy from Acts 16:14, “Open our hearts, O Lord, to listen to the Words of Your Son.”
We fulfill another Prophecy in Today’s Gospel, Mark 31-37! Jesus “put His finger into the deaf man’s ears, and spitting, touched his tongue, looked up to Heaven, and groaned and said to him, ‘Be opened!’ And immediately the man’s ears were opened, his speech impediment was removed, and he spoke plainly.”
Every Catholic is blessed to be among “He makes the deaf hear and the mute speak.”
