Today’s Psalm tells Catholics Who God Is AND how He helps us. #9.

Jesus lets Catholics see how important The Psalms are.

~

Question 1: “Where do the Psalms tell us Who God Is and how He helps us?”

Answer: “Today’s Psalm 62:6-7, 9 tells us Who God is in The First Reading:

‘Only in God be at rest, my soul, for from Him comes my hope. He only is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold; I shall not be disturbed.’

Today’s Response makes it clear about Who God Is!

Response: ‘In God is my safety and my glory.’

Question 2: “What do Catholics do when we read that Daily Psalm?”

Answer: “We are reminded about what The Second Reading teaches us: ‘Trust in Him at all times, O my people! Pour out your hearts before Him; God is our refuge!’

Then, Catholics repeat Our Response: ‘In God is my safety and my glory.’!”

Question 3: “When Catholics understand that ‘In God is my safety and my glory.’ what do we do?”

Answer: “We read The Next Reading in every Mass, The Alleluia! Today, The Alleluia comes from John 10:37:

‘Alleluia, alleluia.’

‘My sheep hear My voice, says The Lord; I know them, and they follow Me.’

Our Response: ‘Alleluia, alleluia.’

Question 4: “Why does Jesus say it is so important for ‘His sheep’ to ‘hear His voice’ and to ‘follow’ Him?”

Answer: “Every Christian hears The Voice of Jesus say:

‘And I say unto you, thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’

Only Catholics are blessed to do two things! We ‘hear The Voice of Jesus’ and we ‘follow‘ the Words with Which He Spoke One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church into Being.

Only Catholics are obedient enough to ‘‘follow’ Jesus into The Only Church He Spoke Into Being with His ‘voice’.”

~

May all be blessed to understand that Jesus loves us so much that He died in agony to leave His ‘obedient sheep’ His ‘keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’

May all be blessed to choose to be among His ‘obedient sheep’.”
