This reading gives an indication of the Catholic Fundamentalism position that we are living in The Creation Program, written and downloaded by The Loving Programmer.
This reading makes it clear that The Creation Program will be largely erased, leaving only The Loving Programmer, Program, Holy Wireless Connector, Saints, Angels, and the souls of the saved.
We need to get ready for the new program:
2 Pt 3:12-15a, 17-18
Beloved:
Wait for and hasten the coming of the day of God,
because of which the heavens will be dissolved in flames
and the elements melted by fire.

The passage makes it clear that The Creation Program is going to run its course. Our duty is to wait for it, and do what we can to bring the end soon.
Then, the fullness of God, Loving Programmer, Program, and Holy Wireless Connector will utterly prevail.
God’s purpose in downloading us human programs within The Creation Program was to separate the sheep from the goats, the weeds from the grain, and the saved from those who followed strange gods.
We have nothing better to do than to think and believe in such a way that we live so that we may “dwell with righteousness”, with our own, human program, uploaded forever into the New Heaven and Earth Program. We need to get ready for the New Program.
