Today’s Reading: “Exactly Whose Souls are allowed into Heaven?”

During Lent, Catholics pray to Think More Clearly about having our soul be forever among those who are allowed into Heaven.

Question 1: “Does The Bible tell us whose souls are allowed in Heaven?”

Answer: “The Catholic Daily Readings in Lent are chosen to tell us exactly whose souls are allowed in Heaven.”

Question 2: “What must we do to get our souls into Heaven?”

Answer: “This answer is from The Old Testament, Lv 19:1-2, 11-18. The Lord said to Moses: ‘Speak to the whole assembly of the children of Israel and tell them: Be holy, for I, The Lord, your God, am holy.’

~

Question 3: “What do we need to do to ‘be holy’?”

Answer: “The Reading tells us eighteen things we must do! #1. ‘You shall not steal. #2. ‘You shall not lie or speak falsely to one another.’ #3. ‘You shall not swear falsely by my name, thus profaning the name of your God.’” #4. ‘You shall not defraud or rob your neighbor.’

Question 4: “What else do we need to do to ‘be holy’ enough to get into Heaven’?”

Answer: “#5. ‘You shall not withhold overnight the wages of your day laborer.’ #6. ‘You shall not curse the deaf, or’ #7. ‘put a stumbling block in front of the blind,’ #8. ‘but you shall fear your God.’

#9. ‘You shall not act dishonestly in rendering judgment.’ #10. ‘Show neither partiality to the weak nor deference to the mighty,’ #11. ‘but judge your fellow men justly.’

#12. ‘You shall not go about spreading slander among your kin;’ #13. ‘nor shall you stand by idly when your neighbor’s life is at stake.’

#14. ‘You shall not bear hatred for your brother in your heart. #15. ‘Though you may have to reprove him, do not incur sin because of him.’ #16. ‘Take no revenge’, #17: ‘and cherish no grudge against your fellow countrymen.’

Question 5: “Are those 17 instructions from The Lord all we need to do to get our immortal soul into Heaven?”

Answer: There is one more! He Who tells us I am The Lord finishes with #18. ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’

Question 6: “The Lord does tell us in The Old Testament what we must do to get our souls into Heaven. When should we start working on that?”

Answer: “The New Testament gives us The Answer in 2 Cor 6:2! ‘Behold, now is a very acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.’

Question 7: “What is the best way to prepare our soul for ‘the day of salvation’“?

Answer: “Catholic know! ‘We need to get the ‘keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’ for our soul! The Lord, The Second Person of The Holy Trinity, left them to The Only Church He Spoke Into Being with His Holy Word when He took Human Form and came to earth in Fulfillment of The Prophecies!

‘And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys of The Kingdom of Heaven.’
