Two things on earth: “The Catholic Church” and “man-made garbage”.

Jesus lets Catholics see how to get away from “man-made garbage”.

~

Question 1: “Why do some Catholics believe there are only two things on earth: ‘The Catholic Church’ and ‘piles of man-made garbage’?”

Answer: “The Catholic Church is the eternal echo of This Word of Jesus Christ! ‘And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys of The Kingdom of Heaven.’

Every person who knowingly chooses to be ‘outside’ The Catholic Church decides to live in ‘piles of man-made garbage’.”

~

Question 2: “That is the most simple-minded thing I ever heard! Can something that simple be true?”

Answer: “Catholics are ‘simple-minded’! We know that The Catholic Church was Spoken Into Being by The Second Person of The Holy Trinity.

Therefore, The Catholic Church is ‘The Word of God’ in Living Form. Anything that disagrees with Any Catholic Teaching is a ‘pile of man-made garbage’.”

~

Question 3: “Isn’t it wrong to make people ‘feel bad’ for not being Catholic?”

Answer: “The only way anyone can meaningfully ‘feel good’ is by doing what is necessary to obey The Word Jesus Christ repeated 14 times in His Call to Catholic Communion! ‘If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.’

~

Question 4: “What if a person does not want to do that?”

Answer: “That person lives in willful violation of The First Commandment, ‘You shall have no other gods before Me.’

~

Question 5: “Did Jesus tell even the best people they could be closer to God?”

Answer: “Today’s Reading includes Mt. 19:16-22. Jesus tells a rich man what Catholics must do! ‘And Jesus replied, You shall not kill; you shall not commit adultery; you shall not steal; you shall not bear false witness; honor your father and your mother; and you shall love your neighbor as yourself.’

~

Question 6: “Is that enough?”

Answer: “Not for Jesus! ‘Jesus said to him, ‘If you wish to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.’

~

Question 7: “Who can do that?”

Answer: “Catholic priests and religious take vows of Poverty, Celibacy, and Obedience. They have, and share with us, their ‘treasure in Heaven’.

~

May all be blessed to love The Living Word of Jesus that takes Form in His Catholic Church more than ‘piles of man-made garbage’.
