Was Uriah the Hittite a living link between two of Abraham’s Tribes?

Uriah the Hittite prompts an interesting thought. Was Uriah the Hittite a living link between two of Abraham’s Tribes?

Uriah the Hittite was a top commander. He reported to King David’s military leader, Joab. He was Joab’s “armor bearer”. He was a leader among David’s soldiers.

Uriah the Hittite was married to Bathsheba. Bathsheba’s father was “Eliam”.

Bathsheba grandfather was Ahithophel the Gilonite. The name “Atithophel” means “”Folly”. His name came true! He betrayed King David. He advised Absalom in the “folly” of his self-destroying revolt against his own father. The “folly” ended with Ahithophel’s suicide and Absalom’s murder.

The Gilonites lived in Goleh, not far from Jerusalem. They may have been among the many peoples who lived among the Twelve Tribes after they conquered Israel. That may be why Uriah was named “the Hittite”. He and his family wanted to show the actual gene-ration of their generation.

Historians wish we could get samples of Abraham’s DNA! We may find similarities that explain much that has been ignored, avoided, or undiscovered.

We may find that many of our ancestors are, in genetic fact, “Children of Abraham“. Keturah, alone, had six sons by Abraham!

Genesis 25:6 tells us there were more children of Abraham! “But unto the sons of the concubines, which Abraham had, Abraham gave gifts, and sent them away from Isaac his son, while he yet lived, eastward, unto the east country.” Is that the location of what historians now call the “Proto Indo-European Homeland”?

Did they become many of the Tribes and Peoples from whom we are descended?
