Vanity causes unbelief. What causes vanity?

The distance between believers and non-believers are not as wide as the gap that separates positive and negative, arrogant and humble, loving and hateful.

Still, there is a separation. A non-believer may be positive, humble, and loving. But, without belief there is no salvation. A gap must be crossed to move into the group of souls who are saved.

Why is that gap there? What keeps people from simply saying, “I cannot prove or disprove that there is a God. If what they believe is right, then if I die in a state of disbelief and disobedience, I will suffer in hell forever.”

Then, the person may ask, sometimes with anguish, “What is keeping me from making the safest bet? Most of my ancestors made that bet. Why can’t I? I’m told that vanity causes unbelief. What causes vanity?”

It’s true. Vanity causes unbelief. What causes vanity? There are demons, living errors, work to corrupt every human operating system. Their mission is to confuse us with enough errors to keep us from processing concerns about God and salvation.

A plea, “God, please help me do what’s best for me.” is a first step. He needs that request to be able to send in more powerful angels to get rid of the living errors working to lead the soul into endless agony.

Right now, those who read this and aren’t saved have this going on within their mind: When demons see God-encouraging thoughts coming into the mind they’ve ruled, they immediately do whatever they can to keep those notions from being considered.

They don’t want those they control to say and ask “Vanity causes unbelief. What causes vanity?” Vanity comes from the self-worshiping confusion that demons download to keep us human programs from asking The Loving Programmer for help in saving our souls.

The problem is not vanity, but the demons that cause it.
