Most of us have, at various times, enjoyed watching liberals. The lies were so blatant, so obvious, so utterly absurd that liberals were as much fun to watch as drunks in bumper cars.
We’d watch them worry mightily about global freezing. Then, we’d chuckle as they’d magically reverse themselves, portentously announcing that “Global Warming threatens the entire planet.” Liberals were like pretentious children, dressing up in their parents’ clothes and pretending to be intelligent adults.
It wasn’t as amusing to watch them worry more about snail darters and spotted owls than aborted babies. But, even that could be, with some effort, passed off as an aberration by observers so used to leftist inconsistencies that occasional lapses into greater, and more deadly, hypocrisies could be tolerated.
Now, we may understand that liberals prefer death to consistency.
In recent years, it became apparent that many women were aborting their unborn baby girls simply because they’d rather have a boy. Pro-life legislators thought that was wrong. They proposed laws that would make it illegal to obliterate an unborn baby simply because it was female.
It was thought that all women would be in favor of protecting the youngest and most helpless women from being killed simply because they were young and helpless women.
It was also thought that those in favor of women’s rights would be most vociferously in favor of protecting the lives of unborn women. That was not the case. Leftist spokeswomen were united against protecting the lives of unborn women, and all publicly stated: “Women have the right to abort their unborn children, regardless of the reason.”
So, those who make a living by pretending to protect women’s lives will fight to allow the youngest of their sex to be identified and killed, simply for being young women. Such people are willing to kill anyone, any time, simply because they can.
Liberals simply aren’t as amusing as we once thought. Neither are liberals as respectable as we may have believed. We put our own souls at risk by believing that anyone in favor of killing helpless children has anything good about them, aside from the possibility of conversion and repentance.
What has let us see that liberals are filled with hate? Their push for death.
