Both King David in The Psalms and The Diary of St. Faustina, 3,000 years later, agree, and Catholics know: "We must seek God's Mercy to be spared His Justice."

Five Simple Truths:

1. God wants every soul to seek His Mercy and gain the Eternal Joy of Heaven.

2.  The devil wants every soul to go to hell and be tormented by his nine tribes of demons forever.

3.  We each have free will.  We must choose whom we will follow.

4.  Since Moses, God’s Prophets and Believers have encouraged all to save their souls by obeying God’s Commands to “Love God and love your neighbors as yourselves.”

5.  The devil organized the fallen angels into nine tribes of demons:  pride,  envy,  greed,  gluttony,  anger, lust, and sloth.  Catholics remember them with a simple acronym, “peggalas”.  Every demon leads whomever they can to put themselves before God and neighbor.

They all tell the same command:  “You must do as you please to get what you want.”  The nine tribes of demons keep all they can from getting the only “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” that He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies died to leave to His First Catholic Pope: “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

What “key to The Kingdom of Heaven” do saved souls share?  “I am so sorry for my sins that I must beg God for His Mercy.”

Today’s Psalm, 101:1-6, David, just like St. Faustina 3,000 years later, both tell us how to focus on God:  “Of mercy and judgment will I sing; . . . I will not set before my eyes any base thing.  I will not slander my neighbor in secret.  The (demon-possessed) man of haughty eyes and puffed-up heart I will not endure.”  Then, God gave His Warning to every person on earth:  “I do not allow anything base into My Presence.  I hate wrongdoing.  I will have no part of it.”

Today’s Simple Rhyme:  “Please God, let each of my days start / so that ‘I will walk with a blameless heart.'”
