Why did God reveal Himself Two Times in Two Ways? #20.

Some see God in a "cloud". Catholics receive His "light". May all be blessed to solve The Mystery: "Why did God reveal Himself Two Times in Two Revelations?"

Catholics are grateful to God for revealing Himself to Moses and those with him at Mt. Sinai.

Exodus 19:9-11 tells us: “While Israel was encamped here in front of the mountain, The LORD told Moses:  ‘I am coming to you in a dense cloud, so that when the people hear Me speaking with you, they may always have faith in you, also.”  For the past 3,400 years, many people have had that “faith” in God.

Jesus did not appear on earth in a “cloud“!  He fulfilled over 300 Prophecies that God had His Prophets record before He was “Born of a Virgin (Isaiah 7:14)  of The House of David (2 Samuel 7:12-16)  in Bethlehem (Micah 5:2).  The Second Person of The Holy Trinity did not appear as a distant “cloud”.

He appeared at the time Babylonian astronomers had predicted.  Their “Three Wise Men” came before Herod in Jerusalem at the proper time.  That proves God makes Himself known to those of other nations.

Then, He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies spoke His Church-Creating Word to one person on earth:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

God came through the “cloud” that keeps many from respecting He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies.  We know He and His Church are worthy of our grateful obedience.

When Catholics receive Communion, we do not just “See the cloud” in which God appears to many.  We put His Actual Body and Blood within us every time we receive That Holy Food.  God becomes a living part of us!

God’s Great Miracle let billions of His Newly Chosen People become Catholic over the past 2,000 years.  We pray that all will use God’s Gift of Free Will and choose to let God be in us by obeying the call to Catholic Communion that He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies repeated 14 times: “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”

Today’s Simple Rhyme:  “From the ‘cloud’ God came to earth / In Mary’s Blessed Virgin Birth. // God lives within His chosen few. /  Catholics are what He told us to do.”
