Global Warming has provided all of us with a tremendous opportunity to embrace truth. We have been flooded with lies proclaiming its dangers for many years. But, the obvious truth, that climate change is driven by the sun, a million times bigger than the earth and only 9 light minutes away, is slowly penetrating into more and more minds.
Watching those minds react to truth is more enjoyable than sports. First, those in the habit of believing authority figures deny the truth. Slowly, those whose appreciation for truth is still alive begin to understand that they have been lied to by people making money from the lies.
There is, sometimes, a great wrenching away as they see that not only is Global Warming an immense lie, but also, so are many, many other things they’ve been led to believe by the same people.
Awaiting those souls who keep moving toward truth is God and His Church. For that reason, we may be grateful for the magnitude of the lie.
