Anti-Catholics have always attacked the truth of the Catholic Bible. Why? The Books of The Maccabees record that faithful Jewish soldiers sent gold to the temple to help the departed souls of sinful comrades rest in peace.

Since ever fewer people spoke Hebrew, Jesus, the Disciples, The Church Fathers, and The Church, used the Septuagint translation. That was found to be a threat to cash flows. When people compared the prophecies predicting to Jesus to His actual life, many became Catholics and stopped donating to local synagogues.

So, the original texts were quickly altered by the Jerusalem Establishment. We get a hint of the changes from Justin Martyr’s Dialogue with Trypho. It’s on the internet. Beginning with Chapter 70, we see how cleverly the new, “politically correct” translations disconnected the prophecies from He Who Fulfilled them. We see the connection between Protestantism, prophets, and profits.

The changes to the prophecies are a real education in Bible History that many Protestants are not encouraged to investigate. “Wow! Look how people changed the Word of God to maintain the system that provided their incomes!”

After centuries of study, Catholic Church to approve the complete Bible in the early 300s.

After “The Thousand Year Reign” of The Catholic Church over Western Christendom came to an end, “the dragon was unchained from the abyss.” Five hundred years ago, Martin Luther was told by his employers: “Martin, get rid of the Books of The Maccabees. They justify sincere Catholic donating for indulgences to help the souls of loved ones.”

The easiest way to to that was to also remove Tobit, Judith, both Books of The Maccabeees, Wisdom, Sirach, Baruch and parts of Esther and Daniel from the Old Testament. Luther’s justification? Around 70 AD, Jewish people who had not become Catholic decided to remove Scriptures that weren’t originally written in Hebrew or close to Jerusalem. Luther just followed the example of early anti-Catholics.

Suddenly that pesky passage about faithful Jewish soldiers sending gold to The Temple to help the departed souls of sinful comrades was gone! Protestantism breathed a great sigh of relief. “Now, we get to keep that money for ourselves!”
