Today’s Catholic Reading explains “The Driving Force of Willful Protestantism” in One Word!

Today's Catholic Reading sums up 2,000 years of anti-Catholic teaching in the One Word that explains such hostility.

Question 1:  “Does Today’s Catholic Reading describe ‘The Driving Force of Willful Protestantism in One Word??”

Answer:  “Acts 5:17-26 tells us what drove one group of Willful Protestants to put The First Pope and Catholic Bishops in jail.   ‘The high priest rose up and all his companions, that is, the party of the Sadducees, and, filled with jealousy, laid hands upon the Apostles and put them in the public jail.’!”

~

Question 2:  “How did The First Pope and Catholic Bishops cause them to be ‘filled with jealousy’?”

Answer:  “The First Pope and Catholic Bishops had seen many Prophecies fulfilled after Jesus was born in Bethlehem.  Seeing His Miracles and hearing His Words led them to transform His Church-Creating Word:  ‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’ into One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church on earth.

Those who did not choose to respect God enough to honor His Church-Creating Word have been ‘filled with jealousy’ for 2,000 years.”

~

Question 3:  “What made them ‘jealous’?”

Answer:  “Catholics know the definition of ‘jealousy’!  Many Profiteers of Protestantism have been filled with ‘resentment’ against Jesus and His Church that comes from ‘rivalry, success, and advantages’.  In this case, they hated The First Pope and Catholic Bishops for sharing God’s Body, Blood, and Mercy by ‘teaching the people’ about The Living Truth of He Whom they crucified.”

~

Question 4:  “How does God help Catholics deal with their ‘jealousy’?”

Answer:  “God gives ‘freedom’ to those who are ‘jailed’ by the ‘jealous’.  In this case, God let The First Pope and Catholic Bishops out of an actual jail instead of the usual Catholic confinement in the prisons of popular opinion.  ‘We found the jail securely locked and the guards stationed outside the doors, but when we opened them, we found no one inside.’”

~

Question 5:  “Does the rest of Today’s Catholic Reading reinforce that?”

Answer:  “Today’s Psalm 34;2-9 proves:  ‘The Lord hears the cry of the poor.’ because ‘the lowly will hear Me and be glad.’  Catholics know we have ‘sought The Lord and He answered me and delivered me from all my fears’.

‘The Lord delivers’ Catholics from the fear of those who are ‘jealous’ because we are on ‘The Ladder to Heaven’ that our Faith in Jesus and His Church lets us ascend!  ‘Jealousy’ of all who want to be on that ‘ladder’ is “The Driving Force behind Willful Protestantism!

Only Catholics see how The Seven Deadly Sins;  pride, envy, greed, gluttony, anger, lust, and sloth take form in one word:  ‘jealousy’.

Today’s Gospel Reading, John 3:16-21, tells us that jealous ‘people prefer darkness to light’ because they do not want ‘their works to be exposed.'”

Some things never change.”
