A new thought about the underlying cause of Protestantism.

Catholic Fundamentalism has respectfully suggested that many people do not return to The Catholic Church because they want to have orgasms in relationships that The Church deems illicit.

At first, it seemed incredible, even impossible, to believe that the entire Protestant establishment could have come into being simply to justify the desire for illicit orgasms.

Then, a brief reflection on the huge, Protestant structure showed how its avoidance of celibacy outside of valid marriage had weakened the 30,000 schisms in every related area.

Hardly any Protestant schisms say that artificial birth control is wrong, even those that work by destroying the tiniest of babies.   That might get in the way of more orgasms.  “I left The Catholic Church because I couldn’t have orgasms with whom I pleased.  Do I have to leave this schism, too?”,  major contributors would ask.  They would scowl at the idea that anyone on earth would dare to think, do, or say anything that might curb their deep, dark desires.

A few Protestant schisms still condemn abortion.  Why do most accept the willful destruction of their most innocent and helpless neighbors?  If people cannot destroy the unwanted fruits of orgasmic relationships, they might not have them.  “Why should I be financially hurt, or inconvenienced in any way, by an unfortunate accident?  What could be more important than my orgasms?”

Do Protestant schisms exist simply to facilitate orgasms among their randy ranks?

We reel from the immensity of the notion:   “Oh, my Heavens! Is the entire Protestant movement simply the result of people wanting to have sex within relationships that The Church deems inappropriate.”  The thought was comparable to a huge jet crashing devastatingly into a huge skyscraper.

Catholic Fundamentalism is more familiar than almost anyone with the “reasons” schismatics invent to justify avoiding The Roman Catholic Church.   We see schismatics’ lack of perspective paraded before us in endless comments made by people who think they make rational sense.

Schismatics developed many pseudo-intellectualisms masquerading as history.  They rant, for instance, about “The Catholic’s Inquisition!”.  They uniformly lack the mental capacity to compare the 3,500 people put to death over its 350 years with the daily slaughter of 3,500 unborn babies.

Anti-Catholic schismatics similarly twist the truth about The Crusades.  They are too historically ignorant to understand they were a long over-due response to centuries of raids by Moslem slavers, looters, and invaders.

Those are two typical schismatics’ justifications for being anti-Catholic.  They are so obviously based on fraud and deception that there is no historical or intellectual reason for believing them.

The shallowness of such distortions, and there are a dozen or so, have led some to conclude that Protestant schisms came into being because of this great and awful lie:  “In our schism, you may disobey The Church’s teaching on the permanency of marriage and still get to Heaven.”  Some people want to have orgasms outside of a valid marriage so badly that they believe that.

There is an odd fact that must not be ignored.  Most people, in most schisms, believe in the sanctity of Marriage.  Most people are actually sounder and and more moral than the “leadership” of their schismatic denominations.  Oddly, as they sink farther into the apostasy to which they lead the more gullible of their flocks, many of those leaders actually call themselves “bishops”.

What does The Church teach?  Would lost souls rather have orgasms than be obedient to Acts, 15:29?  That passage is very clear to those who want to get to Heaven:   “That you abstain from things sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication (sex outside a valid marriage); from which things keeping yourselves, you shall do well. Fare ye well.”

The Garden is self-weeding.  Few of us realize how large the weed pile is.
