When and how Catholics “Plug ourselves into God”:

When should we light our way through life by "plugging ourselves into God"? "Now!"

Catholics begin to  “plug ourselves into God” by heeding St. Paul in Today’s Reading from 2 Corinthians 6:1-10.  “Brothers and sisters, as your fellow workers, we appeal to you not to receive the Grace of God in vain.  For He (God!) says:  ‘In an acceptable time I heard you and on the day of salvation I helped you.” (Isaiah 49:8)

The great Catholic Evangelist explains when we should be as Catholic as we can:  ‘Behold, now is a very acceptable time;  behold now is the day of salvation.”

What does “now” mean?  The moment we hear The Church-Creating Word of Jesus to His First Catholic Pope, we should consider obeying: “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”  “Now!” is when we should begin to be as Catholic as we can.

Catholics are blessed because “We cause no one to stumble in anything so that no fault may be found with our ministry.”  The “fault” in other “ministries” leads donors to think they can get into Heaven while willfully rejecting the “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven”. Those “keys” include the Seven Catholic Sacraments, which He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies died to give only to Peter and His Church.

Psalm 98:1-6 reinforces the importance of being Catholic a thousand years later: “The Lord has made known His salvation.”  That life-guiding prophecy includes: “Sing to The Lord a new song, for He has done wondrous deeds; His right hand has won victory for Him;  In the sight of the nations He has revealed His justice, and remembered His kindness and His faithfulness toward the house of Israel.  The ends of the earth have seen the Salvation by our God.”

Then, Psalm 119:105 predicts what Catholics would “plug” ourselves into:  “A lamp to my feet is Your word, a Light to my path.”

May all be blessed to review The Church-Creating Word of Jesus and pray that God will let us see that “now” is the time to “plug ourselves into The One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church Jesus died to leave on earth.
