The earliest Catholic evangelists said to their neighbors: “God loves you as you are.”  It was so simple and so true that it helped spread The Church throughout the world.

No matter where we are in life, we may look up and realize that He is looking down at us, letting us know:   “God loves me, as I am.  He loves me where I am.  He wants me to grow closer to Him.

Catholic Fundamentalism has offered an approach to God, visualizing Him as The Loving Programmer.  He programs and downloads particles and energies.  His angelic sub-programmers compile them into systems and beings.  He has written and downloaded The Creation Program for one reason:  to give us free will.

We may join the ancient evangelist’s announcement  “God love you as you are.” with a technologically advanced interpretation:  “The Loving Programmer has downloaded you with free will.  He loves you, and wants you to choose to believe in and follow Him.  Why?  Because He wants you to decide to go to Heaven where you will know the greatest possible joy, forever.”

When we hear “God loves you as you are.”, we may start our relationship with Him by saying, “I love Him, too.  I am grateful for all that He has given me.”

Then, we may explore some of the many fascinating details about The Loving Programmer, The Creation Program, and our eternal place within it.  We find that we move closer to God through greater obedience.

The sooner we get started, the better off we are.
