The ladder we pick determines how high we go.

There are 34,000 ladders to heaven.  Each represents one of the man-made schisms calling themselves “Christian”.  There is a great deal of confusion.  People ask, “Which ladder is best?”

“This one!” say the supporters of all 34,000 ladders.

Some of the ladders are obviously wobbly, weak, and wavering.  As they disappear, new ladders are continually being built.

Many are confused:  “Why would God allow so many men to build ladders that He knew could not reach to Heaven?”

Free Will is one answer:  “The ladders are there to provide choices.  Ladder choices automatically separate wheat from weeds, sheep from goats, and the saved from the lost.”

To Bible-believing Christians, the facts are clear.  God provided one ladder when He was on earth.  Jesus said to the first Pope in Matthew 16: 18-20:  “Thou art Peter, and on this rock, I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven:  whatever you bind on earth shall be considered bound in Heaven;  whatever you loose on earth shall be considered loosed in Heaven.”

Some choose to cut through the confusion.  They think the safest, smartest choice to make is to choose the only ladder personally authorized by God, The Church built by St. Peter and the disciples he led.

Still, there are approximately 33,999 shorter, wobblier ladders.

The old saying sums it up:  “You pays your money and you takes your choice.”  The ladder we pick determines how high we go.

That is the greatest risk we run:  The ladder we pick determines how high we go.  If we choose the wrong ladder, we will not get high enough.

Jesus knew that billions 0f people would be stuck on short ladders.  So, the short-ladder people are blessed.   The Ladder Jesus provided has one absolutely amazing characteristic:  no matter what other ladder we’re on, anyone who chooses is miraculously able to see, evaluate, and leap to His ladder.

We only have to make the leap while we have time.
