Psalm 128: 1-5 lets us see that “using opposites” is a “new idea” to help us be as Catholic as we can!
Consider this and its “opposite: “Blessed are those who fear the Lord and walk in His ways!” Catholics consider the “new idea”: that the “opposite” is also true: “Cursed are those who do not fear the Lord enough to walk in His ways.”
Catholics know that many use deadly sins of pride, envy, greed, gluttony, anger, lust, and sloth (peggalas) to keep souls from the “opposite” alternative, getting “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven”.
Catholics choose the “seven opposites” of those sins in Colossians 3:12-21: “Put on, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved: (1.) heartfelt compassion, (2.) kindness, (3.) humility, (4.) gentleness, (5.) patience, (6.) bearing with one another, (7.) forgive as we are forgiven by God, loving our neighbor, the bond of perfection.”
Demons want us to do the “opposite” of what Colossians 3:15-16 teaches Catholics in today’s “Alleluia”: “Let the peace of Christ control your hearts; let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly.”
Catholics correctly connect that with the call to Catholic Communion that lets us have Christ “dwell in” us by obeying what Jesus repeated 14 times: “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood, you do not have life in you.”
The awful, anti-Catholic “opposite” of that is to “have death in you.”
May all be blessed to let The Church-Creating Word of Christ to His First Catholic Pope “dwell in us richly” by receiving His Actual Body and Blood in Catholic Communion by The Miracle of Transubstantiation! Catholic priests are Ordained in Living Link with the Ordination of Peter and the First Catholic Bishops by Jesus, 2,000 years ago.
Catholics are blessed to let That Holy Food “dwell in” we who are blessed to respect Jesus enough to Be Catholic:
“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”
Catholics are blessed to do the “opposite” of what worldly people want us to do. We “have life dwelling in us” by having “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven”!
The “opposite” of being Catholic is “death” and “hell” for all whose souls leave this earth as “anti-Catholic”.

Footnote from Today’s Gospel: Catholics are blessed to understand God’s Connection between the Old Testament Prophets who predicted Jesus and see why He is known as a “Nazorean”: “Some such Old Testament texts are Isaiah 11:1, where the Davidic king of the future is called ‘a bud’ (nēser) that shall blossom from the roots of Jesse, and Judges 13:5,7 where Samson, the future deliverer of Israel from the Philistines, is called one who shall be consecrated (a nāzîr) to God.
