Even the most self-centered person who buys too many Lottery Tickets is blessed with a mind able to consider three odd “new ideas”, make the Smart Bet, and Be Catholic:
1. “When a Catholic soul goes to Heaven, it gets more than a billion dollars!”
2. “Every person who helps people Be Catholic gets a billion dollars for the soul of every child, grandchild, and descendant who Dies Catholic because of their efforts.
3. “Every Catholic priest, religious, and pro-family person who has encouraged beloved neighbors to ‘Live Catholic’ gets a billion dollars for every soul they have helped to ‘Die Catholic!’ They may be visualized as ‘Quadrillionaires in Heaven’ with galaxies of their own among the trillions of them that are now visible in The Loving Programmer’s Creation Program! (That’s a “New Idea” that no one can prove to be wrong.)
TODAY, Catholics consider our Blessed Daily Reading from Luke 4:14-22. We see that He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies tells us Who He Is and Why He is here:
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to bring glad tidings to the poor.” Most Catholics on earth know: “I am poor!” We ask: “Do His ‘glad tidings’ include something better than Jesus giving me a billion dollars to spend in The Kingdom of Heaven if I ‘Die Catholic’?”
The answer is: “Yes!” He Who Fulfilled over 300 Prophecies about the time and place of His Coming told us what God has done:
“He has sent Me to proclaim liberty to captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, and to proclaim a year acceptable to the Lord.”
People who aren’t Catholic are smart enough to realize: “I am so ‘captive’ to earthly concerns that I buy Lottery Tickets! Can I ‘see’ how to be ‘free’ from that sort of ‘oppression’, and get ‘the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’ that Jesus gave to His First Catholic Pope?
‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’ ”
Everyone on earth can know! “This moment is in ‘a year acceptable to The Lord’. I have time to get ready to ‘Die Catholic!’”
St. Faustina (#1507) makes things clear: “But, poor is the soul who has shut the door on God’s mercy, even at the last hour.” There are no eternal “billionaires” among those “poor souls”!
May all be blessed to honor God, His Prophets, and His Son so we may be eternally blessed to make The Smart Bet and: “Die Catholic!”
