Today, 1 Peter 1:18-25 lets us see how many respond to The Bible’s Call to Be As Catholic As We Can:
“Beloved: Realize that you were ransomed from your futile conduct, handed on by your ancestors, not with perishable things like silver or gold, but with the precious Blood of Christ, as of a spotless, unblemished Lamb.”
Many reject the “precious Blood of Christ”, provided by The Miracle of Transubstantiation at every Catholic Mass for the past 2,000 years.
They respond: “I do not want to believe in a God Who has The Power to do that!” as they ignore the Call to Catholic Communion that Jesus repeated 14 times: “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood, you do not have life in you.”

The next Bible verse today tells us: “Jesus was known before the foundation of the world, but revealed in the final time for you, who through Him believe in God Who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.”
Many respond: “My ‘faith and hope are in’ what I believe!”

Then, The First Catholic Pope tells the world, “Since you have purified yourselves by obedience to the truth for sincere brotherly love, love one another intensely from a pure heart. You have been born anew, not from perishable seed, but from imperishable seed, through the living and abiding Word of God.”
Peter lets us see the DNA-determined fate of “perishable seed”! “All flesh is like grass, and all its glory like the flower of the field; the grass withers, and the flower wilts, but the Word of The Lord remains forever. This is The Word that has been proclaimed to (downloaded in) you.”
May all be blessed to live by The Church-Creating Word of He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies to His First Catholic Pope! This “has been proclaimed to (downloaded in) you“:
“And, I say unto you, ‘Thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.'”
Sadly, many respond: “I would rather reject those ‘keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’, even if they do include The Seven Catholic Sacraments, than ‘Be Catholic!'”

Today’s Simple Rhyme: “May all be blessed to see / God knows more than me.”
