Simple Reasons to “Be Catholic!”: “Thank you, Prophets”! #2.

Catholics are blessed with a short, Incredible Truth to know and share!

The First Pope tells all who are blessed to Think Clearly why “Catholics respect God and His Prophets more than anyone on earth!”  Peter’s Holy Words to Catholics in I Peter 1:10-16 make that clear in one sentence!

“Beloved: Concerning the salvation of your souls, the prophets who prophesied about the grace that was to be yours searched and investigated it, investigating the time and circumstances that the Spirit of Christ within them indicated when it testified in advance to the sufferings destined for Christ and the glories to follow to them.”

Catholics understand!  “It was: ‘The Spirit of Christ within The Prophets’ that empowered them to predict His Coming, His “suffering” and the “glories” that followed!  All who are blessed to read that carefully must reach the same conclusion Peter reached: “The Prophets were The First Catholics because they had ‘The Spirit of Christ’ in them!”

That blessed perception may be why Peter was chosen by Christ, Himself to be His First Catholic Pope!  He was the only person who could condense all of Human History into that one sentence.  That proves he had more of “The Spirit of Christ within him”.

That may be why He Who Fulfilled the hundreds of Messianic Prophecies chose Peter to lead The Church He Spoke Into Being with the two short sentences that Catholics are blessed to punctuate correctly:

“And, I say unto you, ‘Thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.'”

After being blessed to receive those “keys”, which include the Seven Catholic Sacraments, Catholics are able to ask two questions:

1. “Were the obedient angels whom The Archangel Michael led to drive the disobedient angels out of Heaven as Catholic as the Prophets?”

2. “Does my guardian angel want me to be as Catholic as I can?”

If you were blessed to read this, you know the answer:  “Yes!”
