American and European citizens are the target for thousands of government scams masquerading as “solutions to problems”.
All problems are caused by government agencies looking for some way to be meaningful. The status quo is their perpetual target. Something must be found wrong with everything.
Nutritional “problems” are always popular. Now, it’s been found that people with too little blood sugar die more quickly. Same with too little salt. Thin people die sooner than the moderately overweight. Lack of sunshine causes medical problems. But, sugar, salt, fat, and sunshine have all been blamed by government agencies with nothing to do but attack the status quo.
Environmental “problems” are invariably transformed into draconian legislation. There have been no real problems found with any environmental “problems”, except one mercury processing plant in Japan that pumped dangerous chemicals into the ocean and an occasional asbestos factory. But, without making “problems” into “dangers”, no environmental organization could survive.
Crime “problems” are incessantly manufactured. Most crime is caused by drug addicts desperate to feed their addiction. Putting these poor souls in jail provides bigger budgets for law enforcement agencies.
Energy “problems” are all caused by government laws and regulations that make it impossible to drill new oil and gas wells, mine more coal, and build more nuclear reactors. As a result of bribes from oil-producers, governments focus on things that can’t work. Bio-fuels and windmills are prime examples of money spent on things that can’t work.
Our first duty is to be “as cunning as snakes” in understanding that the poor souls who labor mightily to destroy us sincerely believe they have no other way to make a living than by taking money from their neighbors.
Then, while working where we can to elect better people, an increasing impossibility as those who fight against stealing from us are effectively branded “radicals”, we have to pray for those who steal. While we may not be able to help them get into Heaven, it will certainly help us to do so.
