Filtering out impurities.

There is a logic and order to every part of The Program. We can choose to become part of that order and logic. If we are married, we should be loving and faithful. If we are employed, whether as student or worker, we should be hard-working and honest. If parents, loving.

We know when we stray from the straight and narrow. The opportunity to get back on track is, with the Sacrament of Confession, always there. Ignoring that will destroy us forever.

When wrong, we should try to be right. When confused, we should try to seek the greatest truth. At every step of the way, we want to get rid of all thoughts and words that may pollute our body, mind, and soul.

Those on the other side always try to clean up what is outside them. They worry about cleaning the whole world while their own souls are stained with sin. Their kind of thinking is a great impurity, in itself. We must be careful not to be trapped into thinking that we are doing something useful when we work to change things that not broken.
