Many people believe in the theory of “Checks and Balances”. They think that the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches of government will tend to work to maintain Constitutional order while protecting individual rights.
In actual fact, the three branches of government are different faces of Babylon A case in point. The recent imposition of national health care on America destroyed individual freedom to choose medical care.
The President did not protect individual freedom to select health insurance. The Legislature did not protect a person’s right to choose medical care. The Courts did not find anything wrong with that attack on personal freedom.
It is a wonderfully classic example of the ancient principle The Church has understood since Nero: Government = Babylon; Babylon = Tyranny. It is as simple as that. When people own weapons, thefts are disguised with high-sounding phrases like “Protecting the environment!” and “Win The War on Drugs!” Such glorious projects fill the jails! Rarely is witness borne so falsely as when governments say they want to “help”.
Protestants, with vague memories of Constitutional purity on which The Republic was founded, are outraged. Their Schisms and their Governments are dissolving before their eyes. What are we Catholics to do? Look to our Maker, The Loving Programmer. Understand that those in governments tend to institutionalize stealing from their neighbors.
That’s it?
No. There’s more. Smile. Relax. Pray. Look to The Church. Understand that He wrote and downloaded The Creation Program to give each of His beloved human programs free will. Each human must choose to either love or steal from neighbors. That’s it. It’s that simple. The Creation Program separates sheep from goats. We may warn when someone acts toward their neighbors in such a way that they send themselves to eternal perdition. Be overly worried? No. That’s the way The Loving Programmer wants it. We are part of His justice. We must not deflect the Babylonian from pompously striding toward the eternity he has chosen.
We, who love our neighbors and partially understand God’s power to program in particles, are practically forced into The Only Church Jesus Founded as soon as we realize we’re in The Creation Program. There is no other place for us. Once we are Catholic, things fall into far better perspective. Every saint has understood what we are learning. Every day is a test. Every day, we either love our neighbors or we don’t.
We never forget that those who steal from us are our neighbors. If we are to obey He Who will judge us, we must “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Even those who steal from us. Even those in Babylon.
