last supperEaster reminds us: The Blood of Martyrs made The Church’s mortar. First Jesus shed His Blood. Then, St. Stephen. Then, St. Peter and the Apostles shed their blood. The next 33 Popes of Rome were tortured, killed, and shed their blood. Countless Catholic priests, Bishops and lay Catholics shed their blood. Truly, the Blood of Martyrs made The Church’s mortar.

Catholic Communion has provided The Body and Blood of He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies at every Catholic Mass since The Last Supper.

Why would anyone, how could anyone, avoid being Catholic after understanding that Jesus founded One Church. We know that because He said one time to one man: “Verily, verily I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”?

Why does it matter what Church we attend?

Jesus divided sheep from goats by making it clear, an astonishing thirteen times between John 6:33 and 6:66: “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.” The “We are too smart for such ridiculousness.” goats left. His obedient sheep stayed.

Jesus ordained The Only Church He Founded with the power to provide The Miracle of Transubstantiation so that future believers might “have life in” them. The changing of bread and wine into The Body and Blood of Christ is the basis for the life of The Church and the life of our soul.

His Church was built with the Blood shed by His sheep! 1 John 1:7 explains how that makes His Church so strong that “the gates of hell” cannot prevail over any Catholic Teaching or Doctrine: “The blood of Jesus purifies us from all sin.”

Only those who receive Catholic Communion receive The Actual Blood of Christ that purifies us from “all sin”. Therefore, those who consciously choose not to be Catholic must have “some sin” staining their soul.

We, who strive to worthily receive Catholic Communion, just like The Catholic Church, itself, know “The blood of Jesus purifies us from all sin.” That allows us to “have life in” us.

From the prophets thousands of years ago to us, this Easter, it all ties together. The Blood of Martyrs made The Church’s mortar. The Blood of Jesus saves our souls.
