Protestants are better described as “Partialists”. Protestants are “Partialists” because they pick and choose which parts of Jesus’ teachings they will take literally and which words of His they will parse to protect the profitable parts of their marketing plans. St. Paul rejects Partialism.
Acts 20: 26-27.“And so I solemnly declare to you this day that I am not responsible for the blood of any of you, for I did not shrink from proclaiming to you the entire plan of God.” The “entire plan of God” must, by definition, include Jesus’ oft-repeated instruction “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.” Protestants are “Partialists” because they won’t do what is necessary to eat His Body and drink His Blood.
St. Paul knew St. John and what Jesus said in John 17: 6-11 about those who would get to Heaven, “I revealed your name to those whom you gave me out of the world. They belonged to you, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word.
“kept your word” means that those given to Jesus out of the world must be those who believed and obeyed “the entire plan of God“. That plan must contain all that Jesus taught, including: “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.” Jesus goes on to say: “Now they know that everything you gave me is from you, because the words you gave to me I have given to them, and they accepted them.”
Protestants are “Partialists” because they simply will not accept all His words, especially “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”
Now, The Scary Part: we The Coming Winnowing of all who refused to obey His clear command: “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”.
Jesus says, with a voice of doom that must echo even in the minds of Protestant Partialists: “I do not pray for the world but for the ones you have given me, because they are yours, and everything of mine is yours and everything of yours is mine, and I have been glorified in them. And now I will no longer be in the world, but they (Obedient Catholics who eat My Body and drink My Blood) are in the world, while I am coming to you.”
Can anyone in their right mind read that and not think: “I have an insurance policy on a life that I know is coming to an end. Don’t I need a insurance for my soul? Can I get that policy, AND HAVE JESUS PRAYING FOR ME, TOO, without being a Catholic and obeying “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”
Pray that no one is so foolish as to ignore Jesus. As St. Paul said, “I am not responsible for the blood of any of you.” who are so foolish as to freely choose to ignore “the entire plan of God”.
