Protestantism’s 43,000 Marketing Plan Denominations have this in common: Protestantism rejects what Jesus wanted: Consider clerical celibacy. Mt 19:3-12 tells us that Jesus was very clear on the subject:
“I say to you, whoever divorces his wife (unless the marriage is unlawful) and marries another commits adultery.” His disciples said to him, “If that is the case of a man with his wife, it is better not to marry.”
He answered, “Not all can accept this word, but only those to whom that is granted. Some are incapable of marriage because they were born so; some, because they were made so by others; some, because they have renounced marriage for the sake of the Kingdom of Heaven. Whoever can accept this ought to accept it.”
The Catholic Church requires Catholic Priests, Brothers, and Sisters to accept Jesus’ clear teaching on celibacy.
Protestantism rejects celibacy. Out of 43,000 Marketing Plan Denominations, only the Shakers insist on celibacy. There were once 6,000 Shakers. Now, there are less than three.
Less than three of the billion Protestantism adherents accept Jesus enough to be in a tiny group of celibates! One in three hundred million Protestants even tries to put Jesus’ preferences into place and they get it wrong!
Who cannot see Protestantism’s universal refusal to accept to Jesus’ clear preference “. . . some (have renounced marriage) for the sake of The Kingdom of Heaven. Whoever can accept this ought to accept it.”
The world wonders: “Why can’t those in Protestantism just do what Jesus wants? What arrogance keeps them from obeying He Whom they insist they worship?
A profound question: “Does their refusal to obey Jesus’ call to Catholic Communion, repeated EIGHTEEN TIMES, ‘If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.‘ cause little dead places in the brain?”
