Jesus divided humanity into His friends and His enemies.  We know that because He Who Will Judge us said:  “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”   Try this!  Reverse two of His words and His warning becomes frightening!: “You are My enemies if you disobey My commands.”!  Obedience is the key to Heaven.

Jesus did not say to the self-centered:  “You are My friends if you read believe in Me and read The Bible.”

Instead, He Who Will Judge our souls gave us The biggest “IF” in all Creation.:  “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”

Jesus said something more frightening about the punishment for belief without obedience.  John 3:36,  “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.”

Belief without obeying brings endless agony.

A sane person will ask:  “What command did Jesus think was important?”  Catholics are blessed to know the answer.  Jesus repeated one instruction fourteen times: “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”

Catholics are blessed to understand that the only way we may obey is by receiving His Actual Body and Blood through The Miracle of Transubstantiation in Catholic Communion.  We obediently follow The Only Church Jesus Founded by saying so clearly:   “Verily, verily I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

By the greatest of Miracles, Jesus has made His Actual Body and Blood available at every Catholic Mass since The Last Supper.  Obedience is the key to Heaven.

Obedient Catholics are among “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”

Those who knowingly and willfully refuse to obey Him are not among His “friends”.  He tells us clearly they are His enemies.   It is best to be an obedient Catholic.
