So, why should Protestants be Catholic?
Protestants are blessed to believe that Jesus Fulfilled The Prophecies. He is The Messiah. He is The Second Person of The Trinity. He is God, Incarnate in human form to save our souls by being The Sacrifice of The Lamb of God.
So, why should Protestants be Catholic?
Jesus was clear: “I come to divide.” In different Passages, Jesus divides sheep from goats, wheat from weeds, edible fish from inedible.
Jesus divided the obedient from the disobedient. “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”
What specific command did Jesus repeat most often? It was bizarre! He said, FOURTEEN TIMES, “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”
The TWELFTH TIME He said that was in John, 6:66. Nearly all of His followers left Him, saying “This is hard!”
He could have said, “That is symbolic.” and they would have stayed. Obviously, He didn’t want everyone to stay. He wanted those who believed more in themselves than in Him to leave. So, He repeated “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.” until they left!
His Words divides those who put their faith in human reasoning ahead of Him from His Obedient Sheep.
“If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.” may only be obeyed by receiving His Actual Body and Blood at every Catholic Mass since The Last Supper from Catholic priests ordained in living link with The First Catholic Bishops whom Jesus ordained.
His Great Winnowing Command separates His obedient sheep from their counterparts in every generation.
Sadly, some are led to believe that merely believing is automatically enough to be saved. It is to save their precious souls that Jesus repeats “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.” so often.
So, why should Protestants be Catholic? How else may we obey and forever be among “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”?
