Catholics care. Protestants don’t.

It is not consistent to proclaim:  “I believe in Jesus, but I ignore a lot of what He taught.”  Protestantism justifies the separation of belief and obedience.  Those inconsistencies cause problems in every area of life.  Catholics care. Protestants don’t.

If someone owes us money, we insist on repayment:  “You must obey the rules and pay me what you owe.”

Protestant “debtors” say, “I don’t have to obey those rules because I don’t want to.”  Adulterous spouses say the same thing.  So does every law-breaker.

Similarly, Protestant “Christians” avoid Jesus’ Church-Founding Decree:  “. . I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. . .”

They say  “I believe in Jesus” while refusing to respect Him enough to obey His Church-Founding Decree.  They do not worship God, but self.  They prove it by separating belief from obedience.

They avoid the promised results of disobedience.   “I believe in Jesus, but not enough to be in The Only Church He Founded.”  Therefore, they worship their personal beliefs.  That keeps them from being blessed to be among ‘You are My friends if you obey My commands.'”

Catholics care.  Protestants don’t.

The soul-condemning nature of Protestantism’s “I’m as good as God!” is even clearer in John 3:36.  “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.”

Those who refuse to obey His Church-Founding Decree see that Jesus promises “the wrath of God” will “remain”, on the willfully disobedient.  They don’t care!  They want to believe that their beliefs are “righter than God”!

When Catholics say, “If you say you believe in Jesus, you hurt yourself more by not respecting Him enough to be in The Only Church He Founded.”  Protestant’s love of self kicks into overdrive.

“I believe in Jesus.  I believe!  Therefore, I am saved.  I  am saved!”

They distort history and Scripture to justify disobeying He in Whom they say they believe.  That compounds the sin of having put themselves before God by bearing false witness.

Catholics care.  Protestants don’t.
