All Protestantism agrees on one thing:  Their 45,000 denominations are united:  “Jesus was wrong when He Decreed The Only Church He Founded Into Being!”

Protestantism rejects The Church-Founding Decree of Jesus:  “I say unto you Thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

Protestantism is united!  “That can’t be true!  Either Jesus was not able to speak clearly or The Holy Spirit made a mistake when The Bible was written!  The ‘rock’ meant Himself!  Or, ‘faith’!  Or, The Father!  Everyone should ignore the words of Jesus!  There is no connection between ‘rock’ and ‘Peter’!  It’s just a coincidence that Successors to Peter have led The Catholic Church for 2,000 years!”

Protestants understand economics.  “If people think Jesus Only Founded One Church, those who respect Him will become Catholics!  They will stop giving us money!   We might have to get real jobs!  We cannot let people think that Jesus was right to say, “Thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church. . “

Protestantism’s universal goal:  “We have to make our donors believe that each of us is just as good as Peter.  We know Jesus did not appear to any of the inventors of our denominations and say:  ‘. . . thou art (Luther, or Calvin, or Pastor Bob) and on this rock I build My Church. . .’  Jesus should have done that!”

How do they get around their lack of Biblical credibility? “We are just as good as The Only Church Jesus Founded because we say we are!  We make Christianity relevant!  We do not condemn easy divorces, remarriages, fornication, abortion, and abortion-inducing birth control.  We give our donors all the approval they are willing to pay for!  That is our mission!  We don’t care what Jesus said to Peter about The Only Church He Founded!”
