Disobedience separates us from God.  Those who strive to obey all that Jesus taught must begin by considering His Church-Founding Decree:

“. . I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Catholics conclude:  “Jesus is smarter than I am.  Jesus knows more than I do.  I will respect Him enough to be in The Only Church He Founded.”

Practicing Catholics strive to obey Church Teachings.  “Jesus promised us that The Only Church He Founded would always provide Correct Doctrine.  I respect Jesus enough to believe He was right when He promised about The Only Church He Founded:  “and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it”.

Obedient Catholics respect Jesus enough to obey His Church-Founding Decree and to follow Church Teachings.

What does Protestantism think of obedience?   Protestantism is defined in practice:

“I believe in Jesus!  But, I do not respect Him enough to believe that He was always right.  I do not believe that He was right when He promised about The Only Church He Founded:  “and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”  I think Jesus was wrong about that, so I reject The Only Church He Founded.”

That partial belief is hurtful to people and to peoples.  It keeps us from Catholic consistency in this life, and the next.

Those who willfully choose to disobey Jesus may not be forever blessed to be among “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”

We pray that all are blessed with enough love for Jesus to obey His Decree.  We pray that all will renounce personal vanity follow Unchanging Doctrine in The Only Church led by Successors to Peter for 2,000 years!

Disobedience separates us from God.
