We are made of cells. Cells are made of molecules.  Molecules are made of atoms.  Atoms are made of electrons.  Electrons are made of still tinier things.

When we began, we were two cells.  Each of us was smaller than a grain of salt.  Jesus was once that small.  He was smaller than a grain of salt!

If the Second Person of The Holy Trinity could be no bigger than that, Catholics know:  We must think small!

In the Middle Ages, Catholic Scholars understood!  They asked,”How many angels can dance on the head of a pin?”

Today, it is estimated that five hundred million hydrogen atoms could fit on the head of a pin.  After St. Patrick went to Ireland, there was said to be “an angel for every blade of grass”.  There are about a hundred million blades of grass per acre, and 20,000,000 acres!  Lots of angels in and around us!

His obedient angels work for God, love, and life.  Their fallen counterparts, living negative charges, work for sin, hate, and death.

How many angels are in minds?  Catholics know:  we must think small! There are an estimated 100,000,000 neurons and 10,000 times that many connections in our brain!  Room for lots of angels!

We know that Jesus drove 2,000 fallen angels from the mind of a madman into a huge herd of pigs.  The more we sin, the more  fallen angels we have.  Each tries to destroy our tiny souls.  They are no bigger than “sparks racing through stubble”!  The vainer we are, the more demons work in our minds.

Angels connect the spirit with the mind.  They influence our thoughts, words, and deeds.  God’s angels move us toward Him, love, and life.  The others move us to sin, hate, and death.

Where do we stand?  The King of Angels told us Only Truth:

Our souls are moved to life when we obey His Great Winnowing Command:  “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”

Obedient Catholics receive That Holy Food in Catholic Communion, in The Only Church Jesus Decreed Into Being by saying so clearly:

“I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

The “gates of hell” are the soul-devouring demons that bring death to all whom they can.  Catholics know:  We must think small!
