What do 45,000 Protestant Denominations agree on?   A billion Protestants agree:  “We know more than Jesus!”

All Protestant Denominations agree on one thing.  They all insist:  “Jesus made a mistake when He said to one man, one time:

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. . .”

A billion Protestants agree also that the rest of His Only Church-Founding Decree is wrong:   “Whatever you bind on earth is bound in Heaven.  Whatever you loose on earth is loosed in Heaven.”

Catholics are profoundly perplexed.  “The Protestants I know believe The Bible.  They know that Jesus is God. Why do they say  ‘I believe in Jesus!’   Why do they reject The Only Church Jesus Founded?”

A billion Protestants agree that is meaningful for them to say:  “We believe in Jesus!  We worship Jesus!  But, we disobey Him whenever we want!  We have our own “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven”!

That is not their only contradiction.  A billion Protestants agree:  “We do not have to connect “Thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church.  . “ with another Decree of Jesus:  ‘You are My friends if you obey My commands.'”

A billion Protestants agree:  “We may willfully disobey The Only Church-Founding Decree of Jesus and be among “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”  We believe in Jesus.  We just do not think Jesus is right about everything!”

A billion Protestants agree:  “I believe in Jesus.  Even though I disobey His Church-Founding Decree, I am still among His obedient ‘friends’ and I am going to Heaven.”

Protestants are blessed to believe in Jesus.  Catholics must pray that our dear Protestant neighbors build on that.  We pray they may be blessed to believe in Him enough to obey!

Catholics love our neighbors!  We pray that all will be blessed to do whatever is necessary to be among His only “friends”;  those who obey!
