Catholics take Jesus seriously. Protestants do not. Protestantism: “Don’t take Jesus too seriously!”

We see that in the one agreement among of all of Protestantism:

“Jesus was wrong when He Decreed to one man, one time: ‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’ We don’t want people to believe Jesus was right about that!”

There is this agreement among The Profiteers of Protestantism: “Don’t take Jesus too seriously!” They know: “If people take Jesus too seriously, they will be in The Only Church He Founded! No one would donate to us! We would have to get real jobs!”

They shudder in horror at that!

So, Protestants focus on self-serving silliness: “We only need to have a ‘personal relationship’ with Jesus!” What does that mean? It means that Jesus is whatever Protestants want Him to be: a personal idol.

Mostly, Protestants want to do what they want and get into Heaven. They do believe in Heaven. They let themselves be led to believe they will get there if they have a ‘personal relationship’ with Jesus.

A ‘personal relationship’ with Jesus is self-serving silliness! John 3:36 summarizes that:

“He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God rests upon him.”

The key words, “but” and “obey” are ignored by The Profiteers of Protestantism. “We only have to ‘believe’. Ignore that part after the ‘but’!”

We see clearly: Protestantism: “Don’t take Jesus too seriously!” Their clergy only believe enough of what Jesus said to have enough credibility to get paid!

They are, at heart, “too good” to have to obey Jesus.

Protestantism: “Don’t take Jesus too seriously!”
