Catholics wonder, “Why does God allow Protestantism to exist?” Jesus was very clear about the only people who may get into Heaven. “You are My friends if you obey My commands.” Protestantism automates “The Obedience Test”.

For most of the thousand years between the Fall of Rome and Martin Luther, Europe was largely Catholic. Most people grew up in Catholic homes. They were surrounded by Catholic Churches, Schools, Universities, Hospitals, Orphanages, Convents, Monasteries. Many lived on The Church’s extensive Accommodations For the Poor.

Most people were “automatically” Catholic.

In The Book of Job, God tested Job’s obedience by exposing him to the devil’s vicious attacks. For the past 500 years, Protestantism automates “The Obedience Test” for each person in every nation.

Jesus promised, “I come to divide.” He separates sheep from goats and wheat from weeds. He promised: “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”

Catholics know that we must obey Jesus if we are to get into Heaven. So, Catholics obey His Only Church-Founding Decree:

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

For 500 years, Protestantism has gained favor with the worldly. Protestantism gained greater favor as it became less obedient to Jesus.

Christ’s Teachings on divorce, fornication, and abortion were progressively weakened by Protestantism’s 45,000 denominations. Protestantism has become a “Test of Faith”.

Each of us must choose. Catholics choose to obey The Unchanging Teachings of The Only Church Jesus Founded. Many of our neighbors are content with seeming to be “Christian” without actually obeying Jesus or His Only Church-Founding Decree.

Protestantism automates ‘The obedience Test”. In every age, it separates the obedient “friends” of Jesus from His disobedient enemies.
