Simple verses contain wisdom. “Catholics do our job. / We obey God.”

Catholics strive to obey The Word of Jesus in The Bible. We sum that up with seven words: “Catholics do our job. / We obey God.”

Jesus told us to love our neighbors. So, we obey “Love your neighbors as yourself.”

+

Since we want to get into Heaven, we want our beloved neighbors to get into Heaven. Jesus was clear. No one can get into Heaven unless they are among: “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”

Jesus told us that. Jesus is always right. That is seen in another Catholic couplet: “Let this be our Holy Song; / Jesus Christ is never wrong.”

+

Many think they can get into Heaven while disobeying any of Jesus’ Teachings with which they disagree. They sing “The Protestant Song”.
“All I have to do is pray! / I do not need to obey!”

Every Protestant sings a another verse. “Jesus must let me in Heaven! / I’m a good and decent person!”

+

Libraries filled with books all boil down to a few verses in “The Protestant Song”.

+

Protestants do read The Bible. There, they read about The Only Church Jesus Spoke Into Being with His Holy Word.

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Protestants respond: “All we have to do is pray! / We do not need to obey!”

+

Another reason to disobey Jesus’ Actual, Church-Founding Word is in another silly verse. “We know more than Jesus Christ! / He was wrong and we are right!”

+

Similar songs are sung by the choirs of 45,000 Denominations. Each of them was built on one of 45,000 Marketing Plans. Each Marketing Plan was invented by an ambitious man. Each makes money by identifying and praising a profitable group of people.

That’s Protestantism!

Catholics prefer to obey The Actual Words of Jesus.
