There are good things in Protestantism.  Protestants read The Bible.  Protestants love Jesus!  Most understand that Jesus Is The Second Person of The Holy Trinity.  They know that He is God!

Protestants respect The Bible.  They respect The New Testament.  Those Books have given us The Word of Jesus for 2,000 years!

Protestants realize that Jesus died to provide Forgiveness for our sins.   They know that Jesus is “The Lamb of God”.

And, many Protestants spend more time reading The Bible than some Catholics do!

~

But, Catholics see Three Mistakes that many Protestants make.

Their First Mistake?   Not closely reading This Word of Jesus about the souls allowed into Heaven.

“You are My friends if you obey My commands.”

Catholics look at all The Words of Jesus as His “commands”.   We want to be His good and faithful soldiers!    Good and faithful soldiers tell their Commander:  “Your wish is my command.”

Catholics want to go to Judgment among His obedient “friends”!   That’s why we want His Every Word to be our “commands”.

~

The New Testament gives us another Word of Jesus.

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

The Second Protestant mistake?   Many of them willfully and knowingly choose to disobey That Word of Jesus.

They do “believe” in Jesus.  They do “study The Bible.”   But, they disobey That Word of Jesus.

~

Catholics ask:  “Why do Protestants disobey That Word of Jesus?”

When Protestants read “You are My friends if you obey My commands”,  many of them make their Third Mistake!

They put the words “some of” between “obey” and “My”!

Protestants believe His Word means:  “You are My friends if you obey (some of) My commands.”

It is never a good idea to add or take away from Any Word of Jesus.  Every Word of Jesus Is Truth.
