What causes nations to rise and fall? Catholics see God: The Invisible Puppeteer! The Old Testament shows, time after time, what He does to nations who willfully disobey Him!
When a nation disobeys His Word, He raises other nations to punish them.
They always begin by undermining the Nations About To Be Destroyed! They infiltrate and corrupt groups within the Disobedient Nations.
When the Disobedient Nation has been weakened from within, it can no longer defend itself. If its sins continue, it is invaded. It and its people are destroyed.

God taught the world that lesson with Israel. When The Tribes obeyed God, they became rich and prosperous. That made them vain.
Vanity made them forget about God. They began to disobey Him. Their Teachings and their Teachers became corrupted. So did their people.
When their disobedience angered God, He had them invaded and destroyed.

History repeats itself in nation after nation! Freedom allows a few to become needlessly wealthy. Greed drives them to increase their wealth and power.
How do they do that? They do so by destroying the livelihoods of working families. Their jobs are given to low-cost producers.
Who are the low-cost producers? In every age, the lowest-cost producers are in nations that have enslaved their workers.
Those nations’ leaders reach out to the obscenely wealthy in rich and powerful countries!
“We can make you richer! Use our slaves to make your products and go on charging the same amount! You will become Fabulously Wealthy!”

Greedy people follow that advice! Soon, the working families of those nations become poor and weak. Then, the nation is easily destroyed.
Catholics know there is One Cure! This Word of Jesus: “Love your neighbors as yourself.”
Catholics know: “Those who love their neighbors do not destroy their lives or their livelihoods.”

Which nations last the longest?
Those with the most people who obey This Word of Jesus:
“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”
In Catholic nations, the smartest people serve God. They do not join the ravenous packs of wolves howling for “More!”
Everyone benefits. Even those in the wolf-packs become more human.
