Question 1: “Why is The Prophet Zephaniah important?”
Answer: “He described what happens to every government in History! Zep 3:1-2, 9-13. ‘Thus says the LORD: Woe to the city, rebellious and polluted, to the tyrannical city!”

Question 2: “Who ends up running ‘rebellious and polluted’ governments?”
Answer: “Those who will not listen to God! ‘She (every rebelling city and nation) hears no voice, accepts no correction; In the LORD she has not trusted, to her God she has not drawn near.’” (emphasis added).

Question 3: “Does Jesus describe how such ‘city’s’ collective vanity can be cured?”
Answer: “In Mt 21:28-32, Jesus tells us disobedience begins with each person. ‘Jesus said to the chief priests and the elders of the people: ‘What is your opinion? A man had two sons. He came to the first and said, ‘Son, go out and work in the vineyard today.’ The son said in reply, ‘I will not,’ but afterwards he changed his mind and went.'”

Question 4: “That son chose to obey his father. What is the other type of person?
Answer: “‘The man came to the other son and gave the same order. He said in reply, ‘Yes, sir,’ but did not go.’”

Question 5: “Did Jesus compare obedient souls who get into Heaven to the willfully disobedient, who do not?”
Answer: “Yes!”

Answer: “He asked a question that every person on earth could correctly answer! ‘Which of the two did his father’s will?’”

Question 7: “Did everyone know the right answer?”
Answer: “Yes! ‘They answered, ‘The first.’”

Question 8: “What was His lesson for all who hear His Word?
Answer: “‘Jesus said to them, ‘Amen, I say to you, tax collectors and prostitutes are entering the Kingdom of God before you. When John came to you in the way of righteousness, you did not believe him; but tax collectors and prostitutes did. Yet even when you saw that, you did not later change your minds and believe him.’”

Question 9: “Is Jesus telling us that everyone should stop disobeying His Church-Founding Decree? ‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’”
Answer: “Zephaniah, John the Baptist, and Jesus agree! If we want to be citizens of Heaven, we will be obedient citizens on earth!”
