Why do Catholics strive to stay both “sober” and “vigilant”?

Adams and Eve were thrown out of Eden for Willful Disobedience. Obedient Catholics get to go to Heaven. And, stay there!

~

Question 1:  “Where and why does The Bible say that Catholics should be ‘sober’ and ‘vigilant’?”

Answer:  “1 Peter 5:5-14 tells us that!  ‘Be sober and vigilant.  Your opponent the Devil is prowling around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.’

~

Question 2:  “What does ‘the Devil’ want to ‘devour’?”

Answer:  “He feeds on souls!  Those immortal, living, ‘holy photons’ are what ‘the Devil devours’. ”

~

Question 3:  “Whose souls does he ‘devour’?”

Answer:  “He devours the souls of all who are not ‘sober’ and ‘vigilant‘ enough to get and keep ‘the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’ that God Spoke Into Being and gave to His Catholic Church:  ‘And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys of The Kingdom of Heaven.’

~

Question 4:  “How may we keep our souls from having ‘the devil devour’ them?”

Answer:  “‘Resist him, steadfast in faith, knowing that your brothers and sisters throughout the world undergo the same sufferings.’

~

Question 5:  “Why are Catholics all over the world ‘steadfast in faith’ that makes us all ‘undergo the same sufferings’?”

Answer:  “‘The Devil’ attacks everyone who strives to be ‘steadfast in faith’ to Every Word of Jesus Christ.”

~

Question 6:   “What do Catholics gain by ‘undergoing the same sufferings’?”

Answer:  “‘The God of all grace Who called you to His eternal glory through Christ Jesus will Himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you after you have suffered a little.’

~

Question 7: “Do all Catholics ‘suffer a little’ just for being in The Only Church Jesus Christ Spoke Into Being with His Holy Word?”

Answer:  “Remaining obedient despite ‘suffering’ is how ‘The God of all grace’ identifies the immortal souls of all who were ‘sober’ and ‘vigilant’.  If we live by: ‘ To Him be dominion forever. Amen.’, our immortal souls will be under ‘His Dominion’ in Heaven.

Forever.”
